What We Do

Mid-South Synergy provides Electric, Water, Wastewater and Internet Service to the members of our 6-county service territory.  We deliver high quality, low-cost service to our local member-owners and have been doing so for more than 60 years.  We are committed to meeting the highest standards of customer satisfaction.  We do business with accountability, integrity, innovation and commitment to community.  As an electric co-op, we are part of America's most trusted network of high quality energy providers.

While we are most known for our electric service, we began providing water service in January 1999.  Since that time, Mid South Synergy has acquired several water systems located within Montgomery County.  We provide water either entirely or in part to some of the largest subdivisions in Montgomery County.  We also recently began providing wastewater service to Southern Grimes County.  While our wastewater business is small right now, both our water and wastewater services continue to grow.

In addition to utility services, Mid-South also provides satellite Internet service.  Since our service territory is largely rural, DSL and Cable Internet connections are not readily available for many of our members.  Mid-South saw this need and provided an alternative with the inception of Wild Blue Internet service in 1998.

Though we began as a small electric cooperative in 1940, we have quickly grown into a large cooperative that recognizes community needs and strives to increase our service to our member territory.
