Cross Connection Control

Cross-connections create a very serious risk to the public’s health. State law requires the customer service inspection to ensure that the level of protection from cross-connections and lead exceedance is provided to the public water supply.

Unfortunately, an ever-growing number of serious incidents have happened and liability exists when innocent people are harmed by contaminated water supplies. As purveyors of drinking water, public water systems have a responsibility to protect the water supply. A very important part of the protection is cross connection control.
