Existing Home Rebates for Home Improvement

Starting October 1, 2009; Mid‐South Synergy is offering several Home Improvement Rebates to residential members on their existing homes.

The HOME IMPROVEMENT REBATES include the following:

• Marathon Water Heater - $100.00 rebate on a new Marathon Water Heater when you replace your old one

• Energy Star Appliances - $100.00 per appliance with a maximum of $150.00. (Limited to Refrigerator, Freezer, Clothes Washer, Dishwasher and HVAC window unit)

• Programmable Thermostat - $25.00 per unit with a maximum of 2 units per member

• HVAC Tune Up - Up to $100.00 on one HVAC tune up per member as per specifications. (Prior Energy Audit required)

• HVAC Upgrade - Rebate of $200.00 on a 14 SEER and $400.00 on a 15 SEER Electric Heat Pump. (Limit one per member)

• Attic Insulation - Rebate of $550.00 when attic insulation is upgraded from R8 to R38. (Prior Energy Audit required)

The rebate requirements are as follows :

• The Rebate applies to Existing residential homes starting January 01, 2010 to December 31, 2010 ‐ (or till funds last)
• Home Improvement Rebate Applications must be completed and submitted within 90 days of installation or improvements.
• The member must turn in the completed rebate form and all necessary documents to Mid-South Synergy by e-mail, fax or in person to:

• Once the application is received and verified, the member will receive the rebate in the form of a check within 3-4 weeks.
