All ¾” and 1” services will have a 1” brass gate valve provided as a disconnect for the customer’s use and will also be the location where the customer connects their service line. The service line will be the customer’s responsibility to maintain while MSEC maintains only the material & fittings provided upon meter installation.

Meter installations greater than 1” may differ from the drawing below and meters larger ¾” may incur additional material and labor costs in addition to the standard tap fee.
